Reach & Restore is filling a gap in services in the west metro of Minneapolis. The food shelves, shelters, schools, churches, etc. did not have a place nearby to refer their clients for basic needs. The same community takes part in volunteering and contributing to Reach & Restore which not only promotes the recycling of decent material goods, but also raises awareness of needs close to home and connects people together in a personalized way.

Reach & Restore is not a religious organization. It’s founder has a strong faith and her faith is what founded the organization. The verse that inspired the launch of Reach & Restore says,

“The entire law is summed up in a single command: love your neighbor as yourself”.  (Galatians 5:14)

God’s first command is to love him with all our heart, soul and strength (Deuteronomy 6:5) and in a response and result of our love for Him, we serve him by loving others. There is no better way to show your love for Jesus than by caring for what He cares about- people.  (John 3:16)

Reach & Restore volunteers do not invest their time to earn anything in their spiritual life or for personal praise. Salvation is free for all and accepting it leads to a natural response of service for Him. Reach & Restore points all praise back up to God as He provides and uses us to bless others with our resources, time and talents.
