In everything give thanks!

Yesterday, we had our first clothing appointments at our new location!  After the first two rescheduled, the third was THRILLED to be the FIRST!  The first comment out of their mouth walking in the door was a compliment about the place.  Yeah God!  They were excited to get their photo taken as a piece of R&R history.  Two more appointments after that.  A very proud grandma and a recently single working mother of 7, who is trying to keep her head up above water. Her son kept asking, “how much does this cost?”   He was amazed when we said, “Nothing. You can just have it.”  He and his mom chose Bibles on their way out.

More fun today when a child said, “I LOVE IT HERE!”

Another visitor said, “I have to go to a funeral on Friday and now I have something to wear.  Thank you so much!”

We are so thankful for what God has done and is going to do!  Please pray for us as we try and catch up with appointments and meet needs of those around us. Many hours of hard work have been invested to keep Reach & Restore open during this transition!  THANK YOU

Please note:  The google address listed online is not current.  Please call us if you are planning to come over.

We are pleased to announce that on Friday we passed all of the city inspections on the work that was done at Reach & Restore!  It has been a longer process than we expected but we can now see the results of many long hours of volunteer labor.

By the end of the week the final touches should be done and appointments will be lining up.

The next big task is a handicap ramp.  Our outside entrance must be improved with a ramp of some kind that will meet ADA requirements. If you are someone that needs handicap access, please know we are planning to make it for you as soon as the resources come together.

Praise God from whom All Blessings Flow!

This week we had a Minnetonka Edina Realty group come over and help us with a variety of tasks. One was cleaning the clothing closet floor in preparation for sealer.  We’ll be reusing the salvaged carpet from our last location which hopefully will be put down this weekend.

We have had many little delays in our relocation set up but we rely on God for our strength and persevere.

Your support is what we pass along to our community to improve lives and share Christ’s free gift of love. A woman who is hospitalized will return home to a stable dining room table and dressers that were delivered today.  Tomorrow, a 9 year old will be celebrating a birthday with her family and her parents will be able to give her gifts and a lady who was homeless that just got housing will get items to make her place a home.

We need volunteers to help pick up food items weekly starting on Monday.  Would love to tell you about this opportunity.

Please call us if you have questions.  God is GOOD!
