Fall 2024

It was another beautiful day at Reach & Restore!

We saw needs met, children making themselves at home, and laughter and tears from connecting to others with God’s unconditional love. This is possible because of your support! Thank you!

We are in the middle of the busiest time of year as the season changes and the holidays approach! Right now, we have a need for:

Jeans-for all- kids, teen, women and men sizes

Sweatshirts, sweatpants, exercise clothes

Adult winter coats Small to 5x

Warm Winter gloves

Children’s underwear 2T to teen

Womens underwear, tights, bras

Men’s underwear. S to XXL

Men’s T shirts, Polos, sweaters

Children clothing sizes 3T-18 -winter clothes

Children tennis shoes/walkng shoes

Basic Cleaning Supplies- all purpose,

Can openers, Kitchen Utensils, measuring cups/spoons

Dish sets with cereal bowls

SIlverware and Sharp knives

Pots and pans, Baking pans and Cookie Sheets

Bed Sheets- Twin, Full, Queen0

Beds, Twin Full Queen

Couches- no puffy or overstuffed

Beds- Twin, Full, Queen – clean, no dips or springs

Gallon Zip Lock bags, Quart Zip Lock bags, paper towels and T.P.

Cake mixes and frosting tubs for birthdays

Pop cans- for our recycling trailer

It’s a blessing to see the outside of the building with fresh paint! We look forward to seeing what happens with the landscaping. It’s been a long time since it has been attended to out there.

This reminds me of what we see as it relates to people coming here. Many of them haven’t had attention for a long time and it shows! What a joy to see the difference in people when they are given value, feel loved and attended to!

Yesterday, a woman called us in tears. She hadn’t been sleeping well and fell asleep in the morning, missing her appointment with us. Her need for household items was urgent as she and her teen just moved into a place. We were able to have her come over during the afternoon and had a special time learning about her situation and needs. The woman left in awe with the donated items that she was so stressed about not being able to provide for her child.

A prayer was requested, and tears welled up in her eyes. “Can I give you a hug?” she responded with gratefulness.

Join with us and celebrate the mission of restoration. We all need God’s love that brings the refresh!

DUE TO THE BUILDING PAINTED, we apologize for any inconvenience while in the parking lot for the next few weeks! We were told that our power will be off On June 14th so we will not be here after 11am that day. June 17, we should be back and running as normal, from 9-3. If you have questions, please call or email us.

As far as clothing needs, we are only able to take in certain sizes until we are able to inspect the items that have recently come in. We do need women summer socks, boy socks, underwear for women, girls and boys, men small and medium underwear. T shirts, shorts, tennis shoes and summer shoes are also helpful. Baby clothing is plentiful at the moment which is great.
