Feeling like the heavy coat season might be ending!

For those of you waiting for a change or update since our newsletter, we are waiting with you. Each day we continue to connect with our community meeting needs with your donations and our time.

Last week.I received a call from a past client asking for future support as her mother literally passed away minutes before her call. She was still in the hospital holding her moms hand while we processed the news together. That was a beautiful moment of reconnection. And reminder of our purpose here.

What a beautiful thing to see families come together to serve others in our community this morning! Many adults and children worked on putting together specific needs for our clients this morning for Reach & Restore and we are grateful.

Yesterday, a grieving family came to us needing clothing for a family funeral being held today. A tragic story, that was on the news a few months ago. It was a tender moment but such a blessing to be here- to fill a need and put things in perspective once again.

How can I spend my life to make a difference in someone else’s life?

The winter coats are flying out now as the coat distribution drives end and the weather adjusts. Our clothing closet contains coats all winter long. We’ve had many people new to the cold season referred recently and so happy to get warmer clothing and snow gear. Extra Large sized coats are really hard to keep in stock!

Over 35,000 clothing items have already been given out this year! Keep in mind we have a limit of the amount of items a person can choose at an appointment. We see God’s provision in so many ways. Thank you for taking part in it!

Lives are impacted as we demonstrate His unconditional love for all.
