Ever have a day when your spirit is needing encouragement and someone provides it when least expected? It happened to me this week again and I’m so grateful for those people who showed up and answered my prayers. Being at Reach & Restore every day, I see people that need encouragement and acknowledgement. It seems by the time they head out the door, there has been a refreshment, a lifting.

Feeling like the heavy coat season might be ending!
For those of you waiting for a change or update since our newsletter, we are waiting with you. Each day we continue to connect with our community meeting needs with your donations and our time.
Last week.I received a call from a past client asking for future support as her mother literally passed away minutes before her call. She was still in the hospital holding her moms hand while we processed the news together. That was a beautiful moment of reconnection. And reminder of our purpose here.

Many people we help feel like its Christmas the day they are served at Reach & Restore whether in March or August! Here we are at the end of another year of serving others. Each year our number of referrals increases and more needs are connected to resources. This year, many more immigrants have come to Minnesota and we have provided more winter coats than ever.
Our mission goes beyond handing someone a coat. It includes the love and kindness that shows someone they matter. You matter. That is what Christmas is about. The greatest gift offered to all of us.
