Extra thankful for electricity and heat today!

Tonight when you go to bed, I challenge you to pull your bedding off your bed and try to fall asleep.

When you have had enough, crawl under your blanket(s) and remember those who are dealing with the cold without simple comforts. We have had many requests for space heaters lately with this cold weather blast and have heard that there are still folks living in tents in the city. Is unbelievable to imagine!

We have a few specific referrals for very large clothes, beds, and metal bed frames. Other items that are needed: cooking pots, cooking utensils, toasters, measuring cups and spoons, mixing bowls, 8×8, 9×13 pans, and cookie sheets, dishes, plastic drinking cups, men’s gloves and jeans, girl sizes 3T and up, boy sizes 7-8 and up, adult plus sizes and underwear for all as well as adult boots and women’s gloves.

Thank you so much for your kind words and support! God is so good and our neighbors are being blessed and cared for because you give generously.

May you find hope and peace in this New Year!

December 2020

Wrapping up another year already! People don’t stop moving or growing so we are an essential resource. We’ve been serving the community respecting the mask guidelines since the shut down in the spring. Thank you for bringing in your donations!

There are 3 families who are desperately needing Queen beds. Each are dealing with health problems. One needs to be firm, one a pillowtop, and the last probably could go either way. Give us a call if you have one you don’t use that is in great shape! You will change a life.

Due to the early snow, many people asked for coats earlier than normal- but this year was abnormal! We need large, warm, adult coats, gloves and men’s winter hats.

Our preschool girl clothes are very thin. We need sizes 3, 4, 5 T girls clothing.

Other items that are low are basic kitchen utensils, plastic drinking glasses large and small, and underwear of all sizes.

If you would like to support REACH & RESTORE financially, you may do so through this site (secured Paypal link) or mail a check to our P.O. box in Minnetonka. We are so thankful for all kinds of support! Prayer is essential as well!

We wish you a Merry Christmas and hope you know the reason for celebrating! If you would like to receive our new newsletter, please email us with your email or address and we’ll send it to you!
